Don't Drink Alcohol ... Wager

If you like to take a beer every so often, keep your money at home if you intend to do your consuming in a betting house. I'm serious. Empty your handbag, your money belt, and leave all cash, debit cards and checks at home. Take whatever money you are planning to use on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket coins you intend to lose and keep the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not at all. Practical more like. You might well discover a win after a boozy evening out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The 2 simply don't mix.

Keeping your money at home is a little drastic, however, precautionary actions for dramatic behavior is proportionate and necessary. If you play to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you are able to manage to throw away your cash without a worry, then consume all the free alcohol your stomach can handle, but don't take debit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated brain throws away all the cash!
